So many are out of God’s will because they talk to and listen to the wrong people. Galatians 5:7-8 ESV “You were doing so well until someone talked you out of obeying the truth. This persuasion did not come from Him who calls you.” They say things like, you don’t have to go to church to be a Christian? That’s not what Gods word says. They plant seeds of discontentment because they are out of the will of God. They get unhappy with everything. The preacher is too long winded. The music is too loud. The building is too cold. Before you know it, it’s about me, me, me instead of Him! We must decrease and He must increase! The old song had it right.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
